Wall art: made by me and my sister
It was a warm summer day without any plans. My sister and I were feeling bored and needed some action, the longer the better. We also needed to get our thoughts away from certain bad things that had just happened. A project that would last the whole day would be just perfect. But what could it be?
My sister had been thinking about getting some self-made, original art (made by herself or by some friends) for her apartment, a long time. Her living room walls were blank and needed some cheer-up. And, as simple as that, we decided to dedicate the whole day to making some art!
We were very pleased with the result, especially because most of the time we didn't have a clue of what we were actually doing, and had no idea of what would happen next nor what would the result look like in the end. Hahaha!
I think both of the pieces look great: colourful and playful, but at the same time kind of "rough". Definitely not serious!
P.S. Some of our inspiration came (of course) from Manu Chao!
